HRAP

Please ensure recruiters brief all incoming Soldiers performing Hometown Recruiting Assistance Program (HRAP) duty that they are in a Permissive Temporary Duty (PTDY) status which only grants Soldiers non-chargeable leave. There is no reimbursement for travel related expenses for Soldiers participating in Hometown Recruiting Assistance Program.

There has been an increase in automated “System Disapprovals” in the HRAP System. Recruiting Centers need to include checking the HRAP system to their battle rhythm, in order to insure that HRAP requests are screened (approved/disapproved) for duty. Requests that are not acted upon (approved), receive an automatic system disapproval 2 weeks prior to the Soldier’s leave date. This is to afford the training base time to generate accurate orders.
