These talking points are primarily for your recruiter to assist with your initial orientation. However, the following things are what you can expect to discuss with your recruiter during your initial orientation briefing.
- Introduce UF 1137 and explain the importance of the form.

Supervise and verify that FS has an established Future Soldier AKO account and knows the proper operation of the account.

Introduce BT Packinglist to Future Soldier.

Introduce FS to the Future Soldier Training System (FSTS) by clicking the Future Soldier Training link on the navigation bar, and using the Future Soldiers AKO user name and password to log into the FSTS.
- Assist Future Soldier in establishing a SMART account.
- For high school senior Future Soldiers in Test Score Category IIIB 31-49, discuss enrollment in March 2 Success. If Future Soldier has the potential to achieve TSC IIIA, enroll the Future Soldier in March 2 Success using this link: https://www.march2success.com/index.cfm
- Discuss Individual's guarantee(s) and projected AD date or projected IADT date.
- Discuss the requirements of the Physical Fitness Assessment.
- Schedule the initial Physical Fitness Assessment for same day or with in 10 Days of enlistment.
- Discuss the requirement for the Future Soldier to contact his or her recruiter every 2 weeks and have one office meeting with the Future Soldier each month.
- Give Future Soldier schedules for Future Soldier Training Functions.
- Discuss the Future Soldier Referral Program and explain the incentive awards program. Ensure member receives three USAREC Forms 512.
- Discuss importance of maintaining mental, physical, and moral eligibility.
- Review of the Future Soldier Welcome Kit (RPI200).
- Answer Questions and/or concerns the Future Soldier may have and intruduce them to the SF 1199, Direct Deposit Form and explain it's usage.
- Discuss ConAP and complete the ConAP College Referral Form.
- Ensure the Future Soldiers understand the limitations when using the Future Soldier identification card (USAREC Form 1134) and are aware of the following: The ID card along with their DD Form 4 series, authorizes them Exchange privileges throughout Department of Defense (DOD) and access to morale, welfare, and recreation services (minus recreational resale activities) throughout DOD (this does not include commissary facilities). The ID card and Form 4 must be in their possession when attempting to gain entrance in the authorized facilities cited above. The contract is valid only up to the date listed on the form 4 as the date of entry onto active duty. That date is shown in block 8a. Purchase of alcohol and Tobacco products are prohibited. Dependent family member may use the exchange when accompanying their sponsor. Dependents must also show a valid ID Card.
