Counseling is a fundamental responsibility of every leader, and your Recruiter, as your Squad Leader, has an important role in taking care of you, the Future Soldier. Counseling is necessary to lead, motivate and inspire you to accomplish your needs, goals, and interests. Counseling assists your leaders in improving your well being, developing you as a soldier, and resolving any problems that you may have. You will be counseled during your Initial Orientation and then again during your Future Soldier Tutorials with your recruiter, and at any time when you need to receive guidance from your recruiter.
