Enhance Your Career While You Serve

Learn about career enhancement opportunities available to soldiers.

Partnership for Youth Success

The Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) Program provides America's youth with an opportunity to serve their country while they prepare for their future. Soldiers learn technical skills required by industry and selected government agencies along with work ethics, teamwork, communication, and leadership during an enlistment in the United States Army. During the enlistment process, eligible Soldiers select a PaYS Partner and sign a Statement of Understanding that reflects the civilian job title, job description, and job qualifications plus the point of contact name and telephone number. The PaYS Information Exchange (PIX) enables PaYS Partners to communicate with their PaYS Soldiers electronically. Log onto www.armypays.com for more information on the PaYS Program and for access to PIX.

Concurrent Admissions Program

The Concurrent Admissions Program (ConAP) is a joint program of the Army Recruiting Command and more than 1,700 participating colleges. Colleges acknowledge eligible Soldiers' intent to enroll concurrent with their enlistment. These colleges defer admissions/enrollment of active duty Soldiers until they complete their enlistment and Army Reserve Soldiers until they complete Initial Active Duty Training.

Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges - Army Degrees

SOCAD is the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) degree program for the Army. It consists of colleges that offer associate and bachelor's degree programs on or accessible to Army installations worldwide. These colleges have joined together to form networks in which each college accepts credits from all the others. This guarantees that Army students and their adult family members can continue toward completion of their degrees even though the Army may transfer them several times.
