From: Office of the Commanding General
To: Future Cadet Spouse, Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC)
Dear Future Cadet Spouse:
On behalf of the Commanding General United States (U.S.) Army Cadet Command, I would like to offer my sincere welcome to you and your family upon the occasion of your husband or wife's choice to commit to the U.S. Army Reserve Officer Training Program. This must be an exciting time for you and your Future Officer spouse. I am sure that you will support your spouse while he or she prepares for commissioning into the US Army. You are now part of an important team whose responsibility is to be part of the future officer leadership of the United States Army.
Cadet Command can offer you support and training to learn as much about the Army as you can before you and your spouse are commissioned into the Officer Corps. Your spouse may be the one becoming an officer, but as you will soon realize every great officer has a great spouse to support them throughout their careers. I encourage you to establish a rapport with other Cadet Command spouses and become actively involved in the ROTC Battalion's Family activities. Please take a moment to explore this site and learn about all of the resources available to you and your soon to be Officer Spouse, before and once he or she is commissioned.
Once again, welcome to Cadet Command and the life of a future Officer spouse. The Well Being section looks forward to providing you top notch support. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our family support section at (757) 788-3835 or 1-866-301-4428.
Sincerely,
Your Cadet Command Well Being Team
